Windowed Mode - Majick - 10-09-2009 03:26 AM

Okay, I did a search and I did find a thread about how to play TS2 in Windowed Mode, however it's not working for me.  I followed the instructions listed in the thread here:

http://www.simsforums.net/the_sims_2/how_to_play_sims_2_in_a_window-t2531.15.html

However, when I put the -w where they say to put it, I get an error message that says the file path is invalid.  Because my computer crashes when I try to play the game full screen, I want to see how it works windowed. Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong?

Just the top one I believe.

I'll give it a try.  Thanks!

That is only from memory, keep that in mind XD

I hope it works though Tongue

So far so good.  800 x 600 is too small, but if I go any bigger, it's too big x3  I'll try taking pictures using 800 x 600 ... if they come out okay, I might see how well this works out.

Okay, looks like this will work out well!  Hopefully, by playing in Windowed mode I'll get longer play time between computer crashing >_>  I'll just need to get used to playing it differently.  I'm used to using my mouse to move around the screen, but in Windowed I can't, I have to use the arrow keys ... that's gonna take some getting used to x3

Ooh, it worked?

You don't need to use the arrow keys. Just right click and scroll around. I do that all the time.
