RE: What are you thinking right now? - Caspin - 03-02-2013 01:53 PM Actually, Ollie, I think we do agree that there is a lack of civilisation on a global scale. But I do also know that there are some good people in my life and some communities that still take care of each other and that, to me, is civilised. They are out there, it's just harder to find them because you have to sift through so much dross. Certainly day-to-day I can see a decline in the level of common decency that people show each other, as well as a rising number of people who are truly only out for themselves and think that the world owes them a favour, but are willing to give little or nothing in return. It makes me sad and angry but all I can do is to try to do the right thing myself (lead by example) and surround myself with people I think are worth knowing. If I run out of those people, well, I'd rather be on my own than associate with folk I can't like or respect. I'm sorry you are so upset about it. RE: What are you thinking right now? - Ollie - 03-02-2013 09:43 PM I'm wasn't upset, I just into that weird conspiracy theorist state-of-mind. I'm thinking I should get off this computer soon. RE: What are you thinking right now? - Caspin - 03-02-2013 10:08 PM That's all right then. I thought you were freaking out a bit but it's hard to tell on the internerd. Have a good day! :mw_wave: RE: What are you thinking right now? - Ollie - 06-02-2013 12:37 PM Today I have learnt not to stick my hand into an empty tissue box. I did that a second ago shook it around, woundering what the rattiling noise was before having something touch my hand, which ended with me throwing the empty tissue box in the air. RE: What are you thinking right now? - Caspin - 06-02-2013 04:29 PM I always like to have a good look inside my shoes, in case there's someone in there. RE: What are you thinking right now? - Ollie - 07-02-2013 09:54 AM I give up on Photobucket. RE: What are you thinking right now? - Ollie - 08-02-2013 11:01 AM HOly was I just asked out on Facebook? Yesh! RE: What are you thinking right now? - Caspin - 08-02-2013 12:21 PM And are you going to say yes?! RE: What are you thinking right now? - Ollie - 08-02-2013 09:51 PM He'll no, just kidding, I said yes. RE: What are you thinking right now? - Caspin - 08-02-2013 10:52 PM Good for you, have fun! I'm thinking about wandering over yonder to get a drink. Then surely it will be bed time. My eyes are stinging! |
