So I have a couple of ideas that I thought would be cool or helpful in TS3, but they probably won't show up :'( Or wouldn't completely work.
So idea numero uno:
I think if we were able to view the sims' world from their viewpoint as an optional view it would be really cool, but then there's the problem of romantic interactions (that would just be weird) and dying.

This applies more to myself but I'm just throwing it out there. I always get super stressed out seeing my sims' needs decay and freak out if one bar of one sim is any less than green. Maybe we could have text in red when a need was desperate, in yellow when a need was satisfies, and yellow when a need was content.
So what do you think? Anything you think would be nice if added?

I like the meter, because it tells how soon i need to satisfy that need. I don't want just colors, because it would get hard to get used to. I doubt they will change the fact that there are meters, even thought there are going to be less meters. (Which, I must say, I hate the idea) The meters are a Sims franchise thing, and I doubt they will change.
