Not authorized?
Okay, so I got TS3 from EB Games, and for a few days, everything was just normal, and things were going fine. Then, suddenly now, the game launcher opens, but it says 'You are playing a non-final, unauthorized copy of The Sims 3'. I don't exactly understand how that is possible unless EB Games sold me an non-final, unauthorized copy of The Sims 3.  {blink}

Help?  {blush}

Re: Not authorized?
o_o Whoa, that's weird, did you install the leaked version while waiting or anything? I searched on google and that's the only one that it came up, that people installed the leaked version, got rid of it, and got this message. If not, I'll have to do more searching lol

Re: Not authorized?
LOL.

I don't Scott would download TS3 illegally.
Could be. Maybe someone switched it? Like they got the illegal copy,transferred it a CD and switched it with the real one?
I'd go to EB games and ask about it.

Oh yeah, sealed in the original box cover and CD Design, that's the first thing that comes to everyones mind. Not to mention the amount of scrathes on the back of the disk....

Re: Not authorized?
have you tried to disconnect your internet when loading the game? And if that doesn't work, I would call the sims tech support # in the back of the packet and see what they say about it. If you have serial# when you call they may beable help? Who knows, maybe mail you a new copy?  ???

give it a try  Smile
