Re: Features in the Sims 3
I would have to say the seamless neighborhood. The AI is really good too, makes it seem more real but I wouldn't mind taking care of "dumb" sims.
I really like that I can make each sim an individual with traits and different facial/body features. The last is being able to design cc, I've always wanted to do it but I never got into modding. Im just ready for a new version period! New 17" Laptop with wireless printer/scanner combo-$1,400
Sims 3 Pre-order-$70
College Books-$500
Being envied by your friends while they cram for exams and you play TS3- PRICELESS!!!!

Forget Visa, Mastercard, and American Express- it pays to Discover!!!! |

Re: Features in the Sims 3
Seamless nighbourhood without a doubt. This is the biggest new feature that EAxis will be talking about a lot in the future, they're very proud of it, so to say. I am really excited for this feature, it will change gameplay so much.

I really liked what Rod Humble said about how the game doesn't really accomplish all it can if a sim can't buy a house on a mountain overlooking the town and actually see that view from his/her home. I think after that will be the differences in how sims behave/we interact with them. I love the trait system and the new dreams/promises. |

It just shows that they are really putting thought into this, and I also think Sims will be able to have opinions of people's houses - some Sims may want to live close to the centre of the town, some will want to live on the outskirts. I want Sims to be able to recognise when someone has a bigger house than them, with better furniture and such. And some could have the dream to get more money soon and buy a better house/nicer furniture, of which you can promise them, if you wish. ![]() |

Re: Features in the Sims 3
About the mountaintop comment, I think this will be extra cool for those outdoor sims. But, if they are on a mountaintop there's a possibility that there will be other transportation without just legs and a car.
Well, it was said that a sim will possibly want that as a dream, remember when they said the same about a sim wanting a nice TV like his neighbor? The same could very well be for wanting a better house with less shabby furniture. Better couch, better tv, better counters etc. I think it would be cool if they could wish to remodel the kitchen or living room for a certain amount of money. Maybe if a child sim inherits his/her parents house when they're older they could have a wish to redo certain rooms to their style. |

Re: Features in the Sims 3
I also think house sytles should vary. Some Sims should long for a contemporary house, some prefer an old English mansion style home, some just want a family-friendly decent-sized home, some might prefer those old country houses etc... I think some Sims should like bright houses with lots of light and pretty colours whereas some are more attracted to browns and blacks and darker colours in a house. It's all about opinion.

Re: Features in the Sims 3
i was thinking that too..
like it would be so cute if there was a little girl who wanted to grow up get married have children and live in a nice cute little cottage to raise her family.. you know that sort of thing.. i would love different styles of houses..that my sims could long for..i love it. |
