So if you guys do remember, in that preview, it did not show ThSims2, it actually show ThSims3?
Get me? So supposedly, the preview was meant to show people that all that was going to happen in the game and stuff and that didn't turn out true. Like about putting furniture in different angles, and everything.
It highlighted TheSims3.

It didn't really show any of the games.
In TS2, you couldn't do anything in that trailer.
And they weren't thinking about TS3 at that time...

they were when the sims 3 was barely announced ben bell talked about working on the sims 3 before the sims 2 was released.

Kinda like in the days of the old nintendo or atari-style games, they'd have a well drawn character on the cover or a live action ad, but when you play the game, it's just a bunch of blocky pixels or something.

EA ALWAYS does that except as of now sims 3 has no false Advertisement because its all gameplay trailers i guess because many people were mad because of the false advertisement in the sims 2 video
