You can read all about the legacy challenge here.

It's just a fun little challenge you should try out before the TS2 era is over, and it mainly focuses on how many generations you can go through, the goal being 10. I haven't played the legacy challenge for a long time, the new rules didn't even exist when I did mine - I plan to do the newer version in the summer holidays.

And don't feel like a loser, lots of people seem unaware of what a legacy is. {yes}

Be warned, it can get a little boring after generation 5 arrives...

dang so many rules no way i would be able to do all that.

I did the old one, there weren't so many rules then. After recently glancing at the new rules, I agree with you. I am going to try the new legacy anyway, but I have to admit, I do hate abiding by rules - I like to do what I please on my game.

When I was trying to do my Legacy, the only rules I followed were

Keep Aging On
No Boolproping
No motherlode or Kaching
Must marry an NPC or Townie

I didn't bother with keeping score of anything or anything like that.

I lost track of my score after a while, so I never found out what I achieved, although I did get all the way to Gen 10, that's enough for me to be proud of.

Up until this family, the Greenreich's, I'd never been able to make it past Generation 6!
