I don't have enough interest in TS3 to feel this way ^_^

I haven't been playing TS2 after reading so much about TS3, but my sister started playing TS2 again and now I might want to start a family. But more because I want my sims to breed dobermans and other breeds and maybe run a pet shop too
I hope TS3 keeps me really captivated, I NEED animals eventually in expansion packs though.

The only issue is that I have to play with a load of cheats :/ Otherwise, zzzzzzzzzzzz. Haha.

Still loving TS2. I'm playing a new legacy, at generation five, almost six now, I'm aiming for gen 10 by June. XD

This hasn't happened for me, no. I do a lot of content writing for a large gaming website, so I hope it doesn't begin to happen either otherwise i'll lose a lot of cash {cursing}

I tried doing legacies but always got too frustrated. I would move the oldest kid out and get them started on their own life and be so caught in with them I would forget about their parents and younger siblings. Then it just got confusing when the sim's kid is a teen and yet their younger sibling is still a kid or something. I know that I will be able to focus more on my families in TS3, even though the goal of that game is not so family oriented like TS2. It'll still be nice. Every member of the family would still age, life would still go on.

I'm considering reinstalling Zoo Tycoon 2. But only if I can get my old save files from my laptop to the desktop, because I don't want to start over on all the missions and such.
I like strategy and simulation type games. Nothing too hardcore.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I think I'm ready for something different, but I never know what a game is going to be like and I'm scared to waste the money, haha. I figure fellow simmers will understand the genre I like.

i think settlers is a great game. and since that was released over a year ago the price should not be that high. it costs 6 € over here

oh i no kenya i got way to well not frusterated but i felt like i wasnt getting the piont of the game because im more of a person who makes my dream sims and then like sticks with them and only them at least for a little while but i can never fling back and forth from family to family
