LOL...How would you feel?(Not really funny,but my story LOL)
{yes}If you bought the game and installed it into your computer and found out it wont play or your computer needed something for it to play...lol...not funny really..how would you feel?  {cursing}...because that happened to me when I first got the sims 2..I went to gamestop to go buy the game...but the store manager try to keep me from buying it talking about...do you know you need this and need that...and I was like yea I know...came home put the game in my computer...I was happy to atleast play Match My sims or watever game that was(thinking that my computer was alrite)and then...when it finally popped up LAUNCH THE SIMS 2...lol i was so fn happy(my sister and mother witnessed it all)..i clicked the key and press play...i was so excited until that little loud ass noise popped up talking about DirectX 9.0...I needed an upgrade...lol(its funny now)But i was so upset and was crying(i was 14 years old-a big ass crybaby lol)...but my sister took me over her house...she had a brand new computer...and i loaded it up on there(still upset)until it said launch again and i clicked...and boom with that big diamond flying by with sims dancing..lol..I jumped so high up in the air with joy(those were the days)...amd everyweekend i had to play it at my sister house (BULLCRAP)..and i couldnt wait for the end of the week of school to play that game again..but it was good back then,,,but better now..i got my own laptop...so i play the sims anywhere i feel like playing it {yes}

But how would you feel if that happened to you when you buy the sims3? That was 1 upset moment for me when something didnt go my way...lol

That happened to me when I bought The Sims 1, and The Sims 3. If it happened with The Sims 3, I'd be frustrated (of course) but not surprised.

That happened to me with the Sims 2 when my video card in my old laptop was crashing. I was so upset!

If it happened with the sims 3, I'll be so mad and upset o_o

Same here! It was my video card that messed it up for me, so it didn't work right away. I would not be surprised if it happens to me yet again. I would burst into tears, sure, but I would not be surprised.

I think a big problem for EA was, TS2 caused a LOT of difficulties when it came to installing it. More than half the people encountered something or the other that blocked there way to a smooth installation. And in doing so, people got angry. And they rated it low on websites such as Amazon, they complained and I'm sure they will have turned a few people off the game.

I think at the moment, a lot more people have suitable computers for TS2, but at the time, we didn't all have the huge space and whatnot that TS2 wanted. All this huff-huff circulated online and it won't have done any wonders for EA, so I hope they take this into account with TS3 and make it workable on as many computers as possible.

Yeah, I hope EA got smarter this time around too. Well, they did say they were designing it so that it could work on older computers, although I'll have to see it to believe it. I still can't comprehend the whole thing where the neighborhood is seamless, with lots of things going on to make your computer go slower, and yet it is supposed to work on older computer.

I would be really really sad...idk what I would do but it would probably mean my using a ton of money to fix the problem.  Hopefully EA will be smart and think of this ahead of time!
