it would be nice to be able to go to a hospital and having the baby. Maybe when her water breaks there will be a puddle of water. Maybe when she gets to the hospital they put her in the bed and then a curtain slides around the female giving birth and shows a shadow of the doctors working on her and then all of a sudden you hear the baby cry... that would be awesome...but at the same point not showing to muh..ya know? Wink

Lots of people are wanting the mom to go to the hospital to give birth. But this is my favorite idea so far. It's perfect! I really hope they do this. If they don't, and they do the same old pregnancy thing, I'll cry! I wonder if Sims 3 creators are reading the ideas on this forum...and then maybe getting ideas to put in the game, since it's obviously not finished yet! That would be soooo awesome!!!

i was watching tish video on youtube and the lady was in the hospital but she got up and gave birth (sims2)

I think that the mum getting up and giving birth in TS2 is really pissing everyone off. At least, it is for me.

i actually LOVE your idea! you should help the creators...
and i know the creators have looked at one forum i was on because alot of their ideas were mentioned in the description (although i guess it could be coinsedense) but i don't know about this forum...i hope so!

It's possible that the ideas in that forum were taken from the description of TS3.

I think they will go with the hospital idea personally. I think they were originaly going for that idea in The Sims 2, and I can't remember why it didn't follow through, but they were going to have an ambulance arrive and speed the mother off to hospital. Obviously we wouldn't follow to the hospital though. And then she would just come back a period of time later (not sure how long she dissapears for) and comes back with a baby in arms! So if they were going to do it for The Sims 2, surely they would retry and this time successfully get it into The Sims 3? Except this time we CAN follow them to the hospital, and maybe go inside and something like the scene you suggested plays out

I think instead of going to a hospital you should have the option of hiring a Midwife

And if she does come then your babies moods would go down slower and it would be happier

And maybe the person giving birth would gain some mood too

I would be happy with just the mum being sped off to the hospital, but going in with her would be cool too. It might take a bit longer, but I'm okay with that. Where did you read that they almost used this idea for TS2? If you have the link, could you please give it to me? That would give everyone new hope.
