I'm waiting my days until it's shipped, not ruining my pc cause doubtly it would screw it up and not be able to play the bought version - don't want to jinx anything.

First off, the people that are pirating the game SEEM to be even bigger fans than you since they're breaking the law to get it two weeks earlier. It's not not supporting the game, it's not supporting EA. Which, by the way, is still going to make millions off the Sims 3. I think they'll be ok.

And second, if they suck, then literally everyone everywhere who has (like that person said before) downloaded even just one song illegally (finding it on the internet, finding it on Limewire... almost everyone has done it at least once) sucks. So let's not single out these piraters...

Why are you so bitter about it Jen? I know lots of people are unhappy about it but you seem extremely PO'd to the point of exaggeration... the name-calling kind of makes ME disappointed in YOU. Perhaps the best thing to do is to stay away from these threads therefore you don't get angry and others don't get annoyed?

Anyhoo, I agree/disagree with you Postito. I don't think everyone who downloads the leak are bigger fans; some are just cheap people who have no intentions of supporting the game by purchasing it and thrill off the idea of it getting leaked.
Some people are trying to class me into this group... haha, no no. I played my leak for a while, got rid of it a few hours later, enjoyed it, end of. I'm buying this game... myself and others who are still buying this game have done absolutely nothing wrong if we're still paying hard-earned cash for this game. We just get to play it a little earlier. But you know what? So have a ton of other people, from websites or competitions etc etc... It's not like this game has never been bare to the eyes before.

You have a point about downloading music and stuff illegally though. So some people here have never ever illegally downloaded a group of songs, or a film or something? I don't believe that.

And Jen, remember that you're not even getting TS3 straight away, you're happy with TS2, so the temptation will always have been easy for you. What about the people that tear their hair out each day thinking about it? There are many of us who are struggling with the wait more than you are and so are more likely to download.

We both have fair points so whether you call people idiots or tell them that they suck, you really have no right to. I loves you Jen but it does disappoint me too. And I don't want this leak to break up good relationships. I don't see why we can't just forget who has played the game and who hasn't. It doesn't matter. Let's just anticipate TS3 like we always have done.

Yeah, this leak is getting to be too much for us, not just for Jen, but for other members as well.  I know that it has been aggravating with all the spoilers from people on Youtube and other websites and the constant complaints about the game (without these, the leak would be way easier), but Cassie's right, we cannot let that enjoy our last days of waiting, which are supposed to be the most exciting, happiest days for the long wait.

But I admit, I can't talk about people downloading it.  I stated before I am indifferent, because I get the point is a lot of stuff isn't worth the money, like music, videos, expensive software...the average person don't have 100 bucks to spend on photo software or whatever or 600 bucks for the good Adobe products.  I am very frugal and have downloaded stuff many times...the programs I truly want AND are not too expensive, I would buy.  And I don't get it, if torrent sites are out there and the law hasn't done anything to them  yet for distributing free copyrighted content, heck, some people take advantage of the resources out there.

This leak just annoys me as I stated due to the constant spoilers, like other people who leak and download stuff, they need to keep it to themselves, out of respect for the people who are waiting for it.  But people would rather have a video rated 5 stars than think about everyone else.

I just find it funny that a lot of the people who have suddenly joined the forums and are fighting tooth and nail that it was okay to download it (excluding Cassie and a few others). Well, welcome to the forum...can we stop arguing about this already?!? 

Lets all just take a deep breath and realize that attacking each other, downloaded or non-downloaded is not going to change the others point of view.

And like MetaKnight said, if everyone just  keeps the spoilers to themselves or on the 'I just played the sims3' board we can all live happily and not let this become the BBS.  {lol}

I'm not going to download the leaked version... only reason is because, i don't want to risk getting a virus...  and like Kay and Cassie said... It dosn't really matter if they download it then buy the game... thats alright
