Sims 2 Pets installation help

Hi everyone!

I'm in a slump, and I can't install The Sims 2 Pets
I'm on the 2nd disc, on 69%, and it keeps on stopping there saying there's an error. I've tried doing it manually, but it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me?

Hmm...have you checked the disc to see if it has been scratched or anything?

Yeah, no major scratches or anything. I've installed it before on another computer, too. I'm on a Vista, if that helps...

Maybe it's because it wasn't made for Vista...idk...

That's odd...it does sound like you have a faulty disk or something. But maybe it is the Vista thing, I'm not sure...

I've downloaded it on Vista, but that might just be me, clean the CD once again and see if that helps.
To tell you the truth, Pets wasn't that hot anyway...
But still the FAQ might work...

Also check to make sure there's enough room on your computer for it.

I was thinking the same thing, lol.

If there isn't enough room, it'll load to a certain point, and once it can't go any further you'll get the error notice.

I had a really crappy computer, and it barely had enough room to download the sims...GRAPHICS WAS HORRIBLE AND IT WAS REALLY STUTTERY.
But it loaded alright :3

I downloaded all three of my exspansion packs on that thing rofl....
