Producer's Gameplay of The Sims 3

I wonder when we will actually see some gameplay from one of the producer's? Like remember before The Sims 2 was released in September of 2004, they were discussing about the movie making feature and what not - and one of the producers had did a gameplay display of Don and his family, and they had a party for his son before chaos erupted I remember watching it over and over again, it just got me hyped for the game. Do you think they will do the same for the Sims 3?
