Your Longest Legacy

Right now I'm doing a sort of 'legacy', seeing how many generations I can take my Sims family through until Sims 3, then I'm going to recreate the last generation of the family from Sims 2 into Sims 3 and continue the legacy, though this time they can age without me in Sims 3, obviously.

I've been playing since August 17th exactly, and I'm currently at my 7th gen, and the woman is pregnant with the 8th gen. I'm really enjoying playing this legacy and all the new generations have something different about them.

So I was just wondering what's the longest legacy you ever had? How many generations did you get through?
