Can your computer run The Sims 3?

Thanks Cassie, karma for you but my computer is vista laptop
and about the problems I have, I told my dad that it wouldn't work and he said
I can't do anything about it. I'd have to get a new computer.
Which they won't do because they bought me the laptop 1 and a half years ago
for my birthday. I told my mom too and she says I'm sorry. I guess that's it.

So...no sims 3 for me I guess...give that 70$ back to my dad for the collectors edition. (that was my christmas present)
