1.there are various sites where they check your computer to see if it can handle the sims.starting the game doesn't mean it can actually "play" the sims 
2.Go to the site of your graphics card driver and look around
3.WOW thats alot XD, I agree with phoebe play it off for about a day and see if it stops it
4.how many Gb's do you have left in your computer?
