Yes, I agree about the religion too. It would be cool but, like you said, too controversial. I know I sound like an echo here but, just thought I'd say.
And the Simlish too, definitely should keep Simlish, without a doubt. And Elders too, I feel their life is too long considering they don't have a major role, or in my game, at least. I keep them in the game for a while, and then I'm sad to say that I go and kill them off after.
