Jen was simply stating she wants to get as much of the old forum atmosphere as possible with old members, like myself, included.
It has nothing to do with ditching one for another but rather reviving the forum. That's all

If you had been here in any shape or form throughout this year, you would know exactly what I meant and the context of the discussions it had been done in, although the fact she couldn't even be bothered to reply to what I said because I'm not "[removed], Munsta, Bambi, Ahmed" or any of the old crowd says it all, doesn't it?

Go to the Website Feedback & Suggestions section and see what's been written, especially the "Enough Is Enough" thread. That will let you know what the rest of us have had to deal with - without any help from her.

If you'd been in here even a little regularly over the last year, you'd know what a struggle it's been for Ahmed, Bobert, BreeBree711, Cororon, Ollie and I to keep this place in some sort of life in the hope of better days.

Apart from Bat and Matt with the spam, outside of the new ones Breebree711, Cororon and I, the old ones haven't lifted a finger to help but are the very ones that feel fit to swan in here when they're "bored" to spend a day moaning about "the good old days", act like Forum Rules jobsworths, before disappearing for another six months or more.

She's already lost us who would have been a brilliant new member, Zhivan, whose first post was greeted with a snotty demand from her to introduce himself properly in the Introductions section before posting. Not even a word about how good his remodelled cemetary was. Zhivan's response was to erase his post and join Bear Mountain Creations to post it there instead (and now it seems Simpletons, where Cororon is also a moderator because she got fed up coming here with only occasionally someone to talk to), where his builds attact lots of people to join up and they gave him his own section to put his builds in. That could have been us and could have turned this place around.

Another new member called AriaMeeghan (a 15 year old kid according to her Official Sims 3 forum page) that joined had her post about her legacy altered because Majick decided her blog had "adult language". She couldn't even be bothered to at least tell the girl what she thought of her story so far while she was at it, all she was interested in was power-tripping over the rules before vanishing again. That was also the last we heard from AriaMeehan, No wonder. She must have thought this place a right shower of killjoys.

See now why I was just a little cross?

As for shoving old members out of the way, for the record I asked Matt to make Ahmed and Bobert mods back in August. Check the "Enough is enough" thread post by me. On 23 November I spent a good part of my precious spare time PMing directly over 50 old members in an attempt to see if I could entice any of the former regulars back.

I believe people by what they do, not by those who talk a great fight about reviving a forum before waddling off never to be seen again until Christmas or whenever they're next "bored" (her own words) in the hope everyone else has done the work for them and they can reap the rewards. I have no time for drones.

If people really want to revive this place or really want the old people to come back, they put their money where their mouths are and put in some graft like the rest of us are doing.

As the boss of Matt's favourite footie team would say, "Let's be 'avin' yah!"
