it started out as an inside joke (an exchange student can't pronounce my last name well. instead of Damen (pronounced Day-min/day-men) he day Diaimoon. literally. and it sounds like diamond. and then The Adam Diamond was created. and so was the Adam Pearl... for obvious reasons + my budgie was called pearl. it's also the name of a pokemon game which i used to play lol. *don't judge me* lol.
