I really had no idea that Mimi was still alive.  She gets the longest living dog reward.

***Now, let's get back to the story***

This will be in Amber's point of view, since most of the pics has her in it.




Dad was getting slower and slower as the days passed and mom, she looked old, but she wasn't really that old, but she was starting to have the side effects of a regretful old person.  Mom's attitude started to change over the next year.  She would always want our attention, and she would look really sad when we really didn't feel like her.  Then she would be all up on Dad, trying to get his attention, and I'm not talking about s3x.  Surprisingly, she just wanted to spend time with him and do things, like go on walks, sit outside, and do crafts, or play games.  But Dad never wanted to, or if he did, he just didn't feel like it.  We all knew that Daddy was sick and he didn't want to admit to it.  Mom would only yell at him for not wanting to spend time with us, then she would continue to stress him out the whole day.  I had a feeling that Dad wasn't gonna be with us much longer, and I was quite prepared. 




Then one afternoon, Dad wanted all of us to go out the house and spend some family time together.  Mom started yelling at him.

Misty:  I am not going nowhere, Michael!  It's too cold!
Michael:  Then don't go...you aren't stopping us, now come on kids.

We didn't complain, although I was very displeased.  Mom ended up coming along too, since she didn't want to be left at home.  He disappointed me even further by bringing us to the museum.  Instead of pouting to him, I thought about Dad's health and pouted on the swing.  Stupid museum!




Then some fun came along.  I met this boy from my school.  We were pretty cool.  I knew what he wanted, and he was lucky that he'd happened to see me.

Jack:  What are you doing here?
Amber:  On a family outing at this stupid place.
Jack:  Um...how's fifty bucks.
Amber:  To do it here?  Around my parents?
Jack:  We can go in the woods, they won't see us.

So we did our thing...it was exciting risking getting caught by my parents or a sibling.  If they just looked really hard, they probably could had saw us.  But that was how I earned my money...allowance wasn't paid in my house.  Our allowance was our food, clothes, and the roof on our heads.  Then we only gotten money from good grades, and I don't have time for school.




Dad fired up some hot dogs.  My mood was elevated, thanks to Jack.  Now I can afford that outfit I wanted.




Then we all sat down and ate.  Riley had to be an annoying brat.

Riley:  I sawed you in the woods.  What you did?
(Riley had a hard time with his grammar, it was some kind of disability he had)
Amber:  I don't know what you are talking about.
Riley:  You and a boy was there.  I sawed you two.  You were...
Amber:  (shoved the fifty bucks in Riley's hand)  Now shut up!
Riley:  Okie Dokey!  Me memory is gone!

Riley sure was a smart boy...




Mom was trying to enjoy a romantic dinner with Dad.  They seemed to be getting along so well.




That night, I decided to sneak out the house.  I really wanted that outfit.




And I thought at first that I ran into Nelson.  (John's not aged, because if I aged everyone my sims sleep with, the town would be all old)

But it turned out being Nelson's dad.  I didn't know that Nelson even had a father.  He wanted something, and I was broke. 

John:  How much?
Amber:  $100
John:  Cool.
Amber:  But if you are Nelson's dad, then why aren't you looking older.
John:  To tell the truth, I am a spy working for the FBI.  We have our disguises, and I keep myself up...it takes a lot of money, but hey, it's worth looking 30 for the rest of my life.

I couldn't believe that I was about to do this to Nelson's dad.  How could I had stooped so low...?
