Lamenting the lack of food in the house. I'm going to have to go shopping. Nooooooo!

Oh well, better than going to the shops on a Saturday, when you have to run the gauntlet of millions of prams and little children roaming all over the shop, causing chaos and knocking into things, while their parents stand around talking into their iPhones or looking at facebook, totally oblivious.

I had enough of crowds yesterday, battling through the station here against the flow of people trying to reach Wembley for the football and also lots of folk from Leicester who were gathering to watch the rugby, then when I got to Birmingham it turned out to be the Pride parade so there I had to get through a lot of people wearing rainbow wigs and pink feathers. They were having a nice time but it was so busy! Today I would like to not be shoved by anyone at all please.

Hmmmm, several hours later and I am still here and still have no food in the house. Today I am to be crowed Queen of Procrastination! Such is my dislike of the idea of going to the shops that I started scrubbing the grouting on the bathroom tiles in preference. However I have now devised a solution - a bribe. If I go shopping then I will buy a nice ice-cream to eat on the way home. Yup, that might just do the trick.

Hopefully you survived it! It's been threatening to rain for two days up here, but all it's doing is baking us under a thick cloud. Temperature of 25 outside, & even the birds are too shagged out to tweet.

Horrible isn't it - hot yet dull. Rubbish from anyone's perspective. The sun-worshipper here is not happy. Me, the rain lover, I'm not happy either. Make up your mind, clouds, either dump some rain or move on!

Anyway, right now I'm going to go and eat some toast, before I starve to death from having a red hunger bar. Then I am going to stop faffing around and play some Sims.

It's been raining like crazy down here, too. Last night there was a buch of thunder and lightning which scared the living day lights out of milo. Milo and I also got drenched whilst going for a walk today, too.

I am trying valiantly to catch up on all the TV shows that are filling up the recorder box. Have managed to finish watching things taped in September last year. One day I might actually catch up (but it's not looking likely!). Bed time.
