I'm clearing out useless files from my computer, including downloaded pdf files, TS3 duplicates & other crap I don't need.

It's early days, but I decided to empty the recycle bin to see the result this far & I've just regained 21.2 GB

Dear gods. If I have more than five icons on my desktop or more than ten emails in my inbox I feel completely out of control and have to conduct immediate filing and purging of unwanted documents!

I have several icons on my desk top that are placed in neat & orderly fashion. Leaving things in my recycle bin drives me nuts so it's always emptied promptly when I delete things.

At the moment I'm looking at a Chicken Parmesan recipe and debating if I really want to cook tonight.

I am watching Spain v Netherlands in the World Cup

By coincidence, I am going to try a new chicken recipe this weekend, Cat. It is a Spanish dish with almonds and saffron. I've eaten a lot of it in restaurants but never made it myself. The time has come!

Yes & it looks like the Spanish football machine is clogged!

Arjen Robben & Van Persie were magnificent. After thinking from the first two games it was going to be another dull World Cup, this is the biz!

Hey Ollie, the Socceroos may well have found a team even worse than them. Get your hopes up, this could be their year!

Yes Spain were well and truly trounced! I have a few Spanish friends who felt the defeat rather keenly. Let's see if England can do any better.

Right now I am reading about some simming challenges to see if there is one I might like to start. I keep aimlessly starting new games, which is fun in a way but I feel like doing a proper legacy again. I might re-do one that I did a long time ago in which you get to the top of every career. It would take longer now, as there are more jobs and also the self-employed careers.

Now watching Uruguay v Costa Rica with one eye and reading the Nraas Story Progression documentation with the other eye. Multi-tasking!

I'd like to stay up and watch Italy thrash England, but it is on waaaaaaaay past my bedtime!

Costa Rica of course first came to everyone's notice when they humiliated Scotland & Sweden in their first finals, only to run out of steam against the Czechs. The Ticos always appear to overachieve whenever they manage to qualify, & it was good to see them turn over Uruguay. Bad news for England though, as it means their next game's loser goes out, & on past performance are likely to kick England off the park.

England were robbed against Italy (far far far too many chances wasted by poor finishing) & Australia were robbed big time against Chile. I can see the Socceroos getting something from either Spain or the Dutch if Tony Cahill puts in another shift.

That Columbian side look a real handful. Reckon a game between them & the Dutch would be something.

Yeah the World Cup is getting a bit more exciting now. I fell asleep waiting for the England match but got up later to see the end. There's a limit to the number of hours in a row I can be expected to keep my eyes open!

Right, time to make some phone calls, my job every Sunday morning, and then maybe set up my legacy. Good stuff.

Watching the Jihad Derby, which is more than many in Iran or certain parts of Nigeria will be able to do tonight. Will be interesting to see how well they do, considering the last World Cup the Mellis were in they beat the US & ran Germany very close. So far however Nigeria are like a hot spoon through ice cream.
