Chilling after a busy day - job interview, opening a new bank account (to one that doesn't do those "pinless" cards that are ultra-vulnerable), & switching doctors (my current ones now only do appointments on the day before 9am, which is no good if you are in work. Rumour has it they only want junkies in the practice because they make them more money. Fine, f**k em. After being with them almost all my life I hope it comes back to bite them).

It was ROASTING today. WTF? End of September & the September weekend holiday up here (when it usually pours), & we get a last blast of welcome sun.

Right now I am submitting a complaint letter. It's a bit tiring so I expect I will need to do something else soon. Like start a new book and possibly watch a film.

Right now I'm watching the news, which is basically going over what happened in the past 24 hours, again and again, in the cafe that I walked past on Saturday.
