Re: different type of schools ??
That would be awesome to have different schools. Or maybe you could have boarding schools like a step mother could hate her step kids and ask you to 'promise' to send them away to school so she doesnt have to deal with them. OHH and you could have  like if your parents were in a special club (like secret society) you would get an invite to an exclusive private school that taught something special like how to  be a ninja....jk on the ninja thing but they could have you learn something special. like an extra skill

Re: different type of schools ??
I don't really like the idea of having so many schools. Since the neighborhood isn't that big I don't think it would make sense to do something like that. At the very most there should be an elementary school, then a middleschool/highschool. Only a city would have that many schools in close proximity.

As far as other school related things, I really like all of Cassie's ideas.

Re: different type of schools ??
It would be fun at first, but then it might become a problem. Like dejadejavu said, the neighborhoods are not that big that there will be so many kids for different schools.

I'm here to help! Send me a private message!

Re: different type of schools ??
i would love more in depth schoooling, and the type of school you go to could affect your sim later in life.

and i mean REALLY affect your sim.

like children that went to a bad school and turned out with a  bad job and stuff like that, they could blame it on the person that got them into that school or something.

Yes, in TS2, you put all that effort into getting them into Private school, and then what's the reward? A uniform. A uniform that you can't even change the colour of! We can only have it in blue even though it also comes in green and red. :Smile
But anyhoo, yes, if you get your children into Private schooling, then this should affect their behaviour. They should be more polite and just basically well-behaved, whereas if you child is in Public school, then the chances that they turn into an ugly duckling should be greatly increased.

Re: different type of schools ??
as cassie said before, what if you pack your bag each morning. so like when your in high school if you click on your school bag, a option should come up saying pack bag or sumthin and if you forget to pack your bag to often you get an after school detention for 1 sim hour.  Smile
