I'm pretty sure that it's set on the lowest quality of graphics. It looks the way my sims2 game looks when i forget to put the graphics quality on high. They said they want it to be able to run on older pc's (so that everyone's not going bankrupt trying to update to a vista capable pc). So this is probably just an example of what it'll look like in the lowest quality.

Yeah, he looks kinda plain too.  Like the typical 1950's kid.

The graphics are better, but nothing won't stop me from touching TS3, unless they take out woohoo, pregnancies, age transistion, and stuff like that.  The graphics look a lot better, and at least there is a background at the park, instead of a plain blue sky.

Their heads look fat, especially the wife's and the dude in the background who is walking with the girl.

Plus, the game isn't finished yet.  Give the graphics some time.

Yes, I am almost positive that the reason for poor graphics is the size.

Look at the picture from Snootysims or just the picture on the official site without clicking on it.

The graphics are much better then.

i dont see anything wrong with the graphics they're just right. as long as the game is fun..who cares? graphics dont make the game..graphics are just looks..

True.  We are getting spoiled due to the HD and Blue-Ray games and TV.  There are lots of games with poor graphics that are good, especially some of the old nintendo games.

I can't even play the PS2 without my eyes hurting.

i think the game looks beautiful the way it is..i dont know why you guys set your standards so high since when are the graphics the most important part of the game?
