The Sims 3 [computer questions]

Well, I think that it is going to work properly on the computers of those that have all the TS2 EPs and it still runs. I mean, if you join all the EPs and the original The Sims 2 the game has about 7 GBs. No way TS3 is going to be that heavy or that demanding. They will try to compress the game and a few of the technologies that they will use this time will evolve from the ones they used back in 2004.
So, of course it won't work on granny PCs... xD But most people has got XP or Vista, especially TS2 fans, so it's okay for most people.

well actually all eps including the original sims 2 is arround 10 GB and the base sims 3 will probebly be arround 3 gb like the base sims 2

I'm confuzzled. Why would the TS3 basegame have the same amount of GBs as the TS2 base? Surely it'll be more.

I don't know... They're trying to put it with lifestories technology. And lifestories took less space than an Expansion Pack....

I doubt it'll have more than 4 GBs. It's still bigger than TS2, but not as heavy as TS2 + a few EPs.

TS2 take 2.7 GB so i don't think that the sims 3 will take a lot more than 3 GB maybe 3.5 GB max

It'll probably be TS2 basegame plus about 2 or 3 EP's worth of GBs.

i think maybe what cassie said except not EPs, maybe SPs. i don't think TS3 would be that big. they need to make room for EPs because all the creators care about is making money. {tongue}
