Pretty much.

For example, the person next to me might wright 'the tree stood tall and lonely' and I'd have to write something like;
'The field, embellished in solitude, remained the home to one lonely, reclusive tree. Every dawn, while a pale sun would prepare for a day's work, a bird or two would nip at its branches, and the tree could only wish they would never leave as he listened to their mellifluous tweeting. Yet they always did leave, and the solitary tree would once again be the outcast he was always destined to be, and to watch over the reserved field as the grass flowed back and forth like waves in the vigorous winds or flourish in an illuminating warmth from the sun. Until one typical day, all his woes were no more, and the tree felt itself slam to the ground with elite force, and all emotion gone.'

Lame, I know, but that's all they wanted, to make something out of something simple.

Brilliant, I love it when people use their imagination and write.

This kinda makes me think of a game we used to do when we were doing creative writing, where we'd each write a sentence, give it to the person sat next to us, and we'd have to write a short story or chunk of text evolving around the sentence. People hated it but I loved it. XD

Oh, we did that in my creative writing class. Except we went into groups and we each wrote three sentences and gave it to another person and someone chose one and wrote on it. It was the first exercise we did.

I thought it was fun, especially hearing what other people wrote <3

Yep, it's definitely amusing to see how other people interpret a sentence and what they come up with. I loved doing that, it really exercises the mind, especially as I adore creative writing.
