It is not that the Mayan calender ends on Dec. 21st, 2012, in fact it goes on up well into the year 6000 something; what it is, is that the Mayans of long ago predicted 'a world changing event' is going to occur.  And everyone assumes 'world changing event' means 'WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!' and is freaking out.

I never believed in all that 2012-end of the world nonsense. So what if the calender stopped that day. It has to stop somewhere, they couldn't have possibly written it to infinity, right?

Actually, they did successfully create a black hole.  However, it was smaller than a grain of sand.  And that tiny little black hole did so much damage to the machine, it'll be years before they can try again.

yes, I agree with you
its just that people are so dumb
its the end of a cycle, then we start a new one
why are people so preoccupied with old Mayan poo?! LOL
we`re in the future, there are other things to worry about
like Global hunger like a worldwide famine, disease, pandemics (we`re living in one, how exciting! XD; well to me), global warming, domestic violence, volcanoes, tsunamis, mudslides, hurricanes, and other stuff
why are people acting like if this is the first time natural disasters have happened?
