Re: Possible Seamless Aging Proof!!!
It's just so unbelievably misleading! The things that I'm most upset about in that trailer:
Teens not actually being able to have destructive parties like that Houses not being able to have that much character (messy, crap everywhere and chairs were not able to be placed on diagonals!!!!!) Celebrations not being like in the game (wedding celebrations, graduations, and no family pictures) |

Re: Possible Seamless Aging Proof!!!
well... it was a commercial and not actual gameplay. i think i understand why they would release such a misleading commercial. they wanted to emphasize the fact that sims would, in fact, age, have a family, and die and so on. they did completely stretch the truth... but it was entertaining......
but it was already pretty obvious after seeing the sims 2 screenshots that most of what the commercial showed was not a gaming possiblity...... |

Re: Possible Seamless Aging Proof!!!
it may have been obvious to those who know better..but they shouldnt do stuff like that even if it does help show off new features..they should do it in an completely honest way. in my opinion anyway.

Re: Possible Seamless Aging Proof!!!
Too true. That trailer was just advertising something that didn't exists, which is rather strange.

Re: Possible Seamless Aging Proof!!!
They shouldn't have really been allowed to do it, to be honest. The games (the trailer and TS2) were worlds apart and the trailer in no way relates to TS2. I really hope it relates to TS3, however...
