yeh kool idea, and if they dont hand in their homework or they fail in test they could get a letter or phone call home. or even if they miss behave in class alot, lol like myself : Smile

yeah why dont we ever hear about tests?? they should have a test every other week or something that we have to force them to study for or something..well not force..but a test they should study for, add more to the idea of school.

Great idea, we should know about tests much in advance, so we can make them revise over the course of a week or so, or make them squish it all in the night before. If they follow the former, they're bound to recieve brilliant results, where as the latter delivers quite less amazing grades. Or they could just not revise at all, in which case they should totally fail, except, and very rarely, they should be able to get good grades without revising once, because it can happen to people, myself included.

You know once in awhile they should bring home projects!!!! How cute would that be? There could be a few random things that a kid would have to do. Maybe when they're a child they would have to make a shoebox diahrama, or another typical school project. When they're a teen they might bring a paper home that would take a little extra work. Who's know maybe there could even be a group project!

Oh, I would LOVE it if they put this stuff in. Especially because these projects would be fun. The parents could join in and help the little kid. And group projects for teens would be a way to meet new people.

Group projects could be so much fun! Kids could fall out or bond over it, and there could be activities that they could do around town. Like a survey of which is the most popular activty in the park (slide, swings, feeding the ducks, sandpits etc) and things like that.

Sims could also develop skills while working on their projects. Maybe they could gain charisma or whatever the skill will be in TS3 if they have a successful oral project. Or if they do a bad job they could even lose skill.

There should way more incentives to do well in school, and it should have options so your sim isn't honor roll or flunking out. Maybe there could be two projects and two test in the teen lifestage if its the same length as it is now. But they should take away having homework every night.

Kids should have little quizzes every week and a lot of projects.

Also projects should reflect personality. They could be similar to how sims have different painting styles. Different types of sims could take a project in a different direction. A serious sim could have a factual project that gets right down to business, whereas a creative, artsy sim could go crazy and do something out of this world.

Yeah that would be so cool and if they had partners they could come over to help with the project, and if like they got an A on a test or something the parents could put it on the fridge. Smile

I just had a thought... maybe they could have a photo day? Like, a class photo (stick a bunch of your Sims' kids and townie children together in a class) and a single/sibling photo, like, all the parents' kids who are at school in a photo together, just like in real school. And they could hang it on the house walls for all to see. Smile

i love all these ideas..
the group project idea would be helpful with making new friends and raising grades =]
they could be alot of fun too..and i love the idea of gaining skill points with it too.
i also like the class picture day idea!!! there should be more life to the idea of schools since sims spend so much of their lives in it..( haha just like us )

Me too. Kids don't just walk home from school, put down their homework and that's it. Some kids should run home happily and tell their mummy or daddy about their day at school, maybe bring home a picture they painted themselves in art class, and things like that? And some should come home crying, they'd be depressed with the idea of school, it causes a lot of problems for some children. I hate the happy-go-lucky attitude all the kids have, it's annoying.
