In Australia we get the version made in Asia, so it doesn't come all the way from the USA.
When we were 2 weeks behind, I used to be glued to the computer looking for screen shots.
But I am way too busy for that these days. The date here has been wrong in the past, but we usually get it early.
Cassie: that will be really hard for you to stay away from this site for a week. Just avoid posts titled "spoiler".

I can stay away from this site for a week.  No prob.

I did for a while, when I got tired of it being no updates, or no news.  I just forgot about the site, then one day, I said that I should post so I won't be a stranger again, and there were updates!!!

Then it happened again, then when I came back on here...update to Sims 3 site,and the fansite was open!!!

Then again....And I found out the release date!!!

We may be getting info, or may not....I doubt that it is anything super new or drastic.

Congrats once again..but just imagine...like when we saw them pics from that convention thing or watever it was...it was already a tease for me and kinda spoil my exciteness...b/c i am seing too much info...so what difference would it be to see everybody who got it a week b4 us and watch the videos or pics..it really wouldnt bother me it will kinda feel the same..b/c we might get every bit of detail b4 anybody get the game anyway...so it really shouldnt bother anybody like that...to me it will feel like were reading more info aboout the game b4 it come out...so im str8 im not upset...all im worry about is me getting the game and nobody else...period..when i get it..i will be playn it...not tryn to brag or post info..i will be into the game more likely...so everybody should calm down and relax...its not like they getting it a month earlier or something(now i really would have been angry)....but a week apart is not so bad..i know how everbody else feels....but who knows..we might get something special for the ones who gets it a week later..so be positive everybody..luv you all....and once again congrats to the ones who get it a week early

I'm quite happy for them and I don't mind waiting until the USA release date because 9 out of 10 times, we won't even be able to play until after the 20th.

Amazon says I won't get my CE until the 24th anyway. Of course if gamestop gets the CE and releases it on the 20th, Amazon can reimburse me, especially for the extra 15 bux I'm paying just to get it four days after its release!

I actually am looking forwards to other simmers posting spoilers.

I think everyone has an opinion of how it will be and even if you've seen the spoilers, you will still be surprised when the game is on your screen.

In a weeks time I don't think someone can spoil all of the game because it'll still be new to them.

Watching and reading spoilers will only get me that much more pumped about the game imho.
