TheSims4?

[serp3821]

so everyone was playing in a single game
like a virtual world?

[Majick]

It was like The Sims, but it was done online, sort of like how TS3 is going to be, but instead of NPCs and Townies, all the other Sims were ACTUAL people.

It was weird and ... lame, tbh.

I will admit it got bored after a 3 months rofl.

[serp3821]

never played it

[Majick]

I played it for all of a week.  With my sister and her at the time fiance.  It was pretty cool for like ... a day.  But they had to constantly do updates because it was online, and the updates took HOURS because back then Dial-Up was the only real option for a lot of people.

[serp3821]

oh i know
I hated dial-up
it sucked
and then you couldn't use the phone
now you can so its changed.

[Majick]

Yeah.  But again, the game lagged horribly due to the Dial-Up, and the updates were horrid.  Made it not worth playing IMO.  I would be willing to try it again, if they did like a 30 day free trial if they ever got it to work right.

[serp3821]

so what would it be if EA did the same thing again with TS3 or 4?
will ppl still play?

[Majick]

Like I said, if it had a 30 day free trial, I'd try it at the very least.
