Happy Birthday, Andrew!

Re: Happy Birthday, Andrew!
I've been to Disney Land Paris and Disney World Florida. Paris sucked. Disney World was good, I was 8 though so I'm biased. Magic Kingdom, I hated it. I loved MGM and Epcot though.

You've been to Paris?!? I wish I was you, lol.

I went to Disneyland (LA) the first time when I was seven and I was pretty amazed, but you know... I was just a little kid. I went back a few years later and still liked it. I was a little freaked out by the scary lady at Universal, though.

Re: Happy Birthday, Andrew!
Well Disneyland is a concentrated version of Disneyworld, and I had food poisoning throughout my entire Paris trip. So I obviously hated it, rofl. They sold us dodgy food at the hotel so we all had it.

Disneyworld is like a land of dreams. Corny but it's truth in every word. You can't go somewhere better than Orlando. I'd kill to go again. Only reason we went twice was because my dad was forced to pay my mum £2,000, so we spent it on two trips there, and it was so worth it.

Personally, I've always though Orlando seemed a bit over-rated, but I've never been so... idk, lol.

I went to the L.A. one when I was like small. WTH? I told my mom why did she take me so small?! It wasn't fair. I don't remember anything apart from being scared of Mickey Mouse.

weird how EVERYONE went when they were small Tongue.

You only know how amazing it is once you've been. I'd say the same as you if I've never gone. I rememer telling my mum I wasn't interested in Disney [well, we obviously to lots of places besides Disney but I didn't know that at the time], and that I thought it'd be a good holiday but I wasn't spazzing or anything.

And then the second time we went I knew what I was heading for and I was the most excited kid on Earth.

But Universal absolutely owns Disney. Disney isn't that amazing. Twilight Zone ride thing is. That's epic. And Epcot is amazing. Animal Kingdom is okay is you're obsessed with wildlife but it never did it for me. And Magic Kingom... crap.

Walking through Universal Studios... it felt liek a dream. The streets are amazing.
I've got some pics from my holiday in the house actually... I'll try post them later.

Re: Happy Birthday, Andrew!
See it seems the opposite in LA, Universal Hollywood doesn't have many rides... well it didn't when I went there. Twilight Zone is awesome Tongue
