most of my cousins are older than me and we dont talk that much, and the cousins I do talk to kind hate me. My only uncle thats is still alive is so competitive with my mom like them 2 always try to compete about anything.Who has the better house, better kids, but he takes it too far sometimes. Now my other cousins when they are around my they willl play it.

ya, I don't think any of my family plays the sims.

It's kinda annoying how there's nobody around me that I know plays the sims too. I mean, with as many fans as there are for it you would think I would know somebody else who plays it but sadly I don't. That's another reason I come here, to mingle with fellow simmers.

That's why I come here too.

I heard that the US has like the lowest fanbase for The Sims though. Most of the fans are in the UK or Australia. We Americans are bloody, violent, gory people. {lol} We make the biggest fanbase of Gears of War and Halo, and stuff.

I was searching for a forum and came across this forum. I was on other forums, but other forums weren't as active as this one around March/April. And since this was a really active and nice forum, I joined. If this was another empty forum, I wouldn't had joined. I forgot the name of this forum many times, I just ran across it again, and decided to bookmark the page and join.

I'm gonna ask the man at Gamestop about how many people preordered TS3. All of the Sims games are like untouched at my Gamestop.

But yep...there are fans out there. They may be people we see every day, but we just don't talk to them. Who knows, it may be the stinky boy, or the married man at my college who flirts with EVERYONE and his wife is a student, and everyone knows his wife.

My point is that they can be in our faces.

ya, that's what I keep thinking too, sometimes I bet they are like closet simmers. They don't tell anybody they sim yet they do it and love it. I didn't know my two friends used to sim until we were on a bus trip back home from our 8th grade trip. They had the sims 1 and played it but they don't sim anymore, I think they must have stopped after the sims 1 and never got the second. But I bet there are people that if it came up in a conversation, they would admit to doing it. I talked to some other girls once and we were reminiscing (sp?) about computer games and the sims came up but they too only did the sims 1 and probably think thier too mature for computer games. I've always been a gamer if the games good and I probably always will be...yes, I will be the grandma who plays games in retirement and whose grandkids will love to come over to play on my games and computer lol!

Same thing with me too. When I have kids, I am gonna have a fun house...so I have to marry someone fun too. If he cannot stand the fact I love games and animals, then get out. But I prefer him to like them, and be fun...well, he don't have to be fun, but have a freaking sense of humor.

But I am gonna have a dog, I want sugar gliders, pot belly pig, porcupine, giant tortoises (I have a baby tortoise that will get huge), I want a bearded dragon, I want a snake...my kids are gonna live wild. Their friends would come over and run out scared. Then it's gonna be a gaming house...all the systems every!!! Dreamcast, PS3...shoo...hopefully the newest Xbox...and really, TS4 or so.

My mom thinks it's filth. She already hates my pets now.

haha, I love animals too, I want to live in the country and have a few dogs, a horse, a cat, sugar gliders because I always wanted one but my parents don't want them, mice, gerbils, some sort of reptile, and anything else I can handle. And ya, the guy I marry will have to like the same things as me because otherwise I will probably drive him insane, but I wouldn't marry anyone who doesn't connect mentally with me anyways lol!

and ya, the only rodent I got my mom to like was my little russian hamster named Napoleon and that was because he was so tiny and cute how could she resist him? I have gerbils now and their cage sometimes smells (not much) and she thinks I'm living in a pit in my room but it's what you pay to have a pet.

Haha, and yes, I definitely want to have a fun house too, not a boring one. I think I will make an interesting parent, it will be interesting.

every since I've been working at gamestop..I've tried to see if there were sims fans around my area..and there are plenty..the funny thing is that..I mite be the only one who know about the sims 3..no one had pre ordered but me...when customers come in and they are buying the sims off the consoles...I ask them about the sims 3..they be looking so happy...but confuse...lol...but I came across a lot of sim fans at my job
