Re: are the graphics really that good?
That would suck.

Though, honestly, so far there is nothing about TS3 that is making me want to buy it. "Better graphics" just isn't enough for me.

Re: are the graphics really that good?
Nope.

I like having my individual lots and special community lots. Seamless play doesn't impress me that much.

Re: are the graphics really that good?
I think that the sims are chubby!

I really don't like their new looks, too realistic.
Sims is supposed to be cartoony in someways, no one wants a Sims that is like real-life
Might as well paste real people on their heads.

You got to remember guys all these things that we see now are just pre game screenshots. I'm sure the real game is going to improve even more!

Re: are the graphics really that good?
Those wondering how the lots are seamless-

There are multiple ways this may be done.

I am thinking that it will be one load when you start the game. It may take a little longer than it used to, but you won't load ever again.

Like someone suggested, it may also load little by little in the background.

Those are the two ways I can think of.

Anyone else?

Re: are the graphics really that good?
Yes, I always assumed most of the screenshots were worse that what it really is.

As for how it first loads, I never even thought about that. I'm guessing there will be one lengthy loading screen at the start, and then after that, you simply enter the house or area in the 'hood you left off.
