maybe this downloadable version is just a demo and that's why it crashes afrer 1/4 hours. ???

It doesn't crash when I play it. ???
One good thing that I downloaded it though, is that I found out that my video card doesn't support the game. So by the time I buy it when it comes out I'll have bought a new video card. (I'm playing it on my sister's PC btw)

I was going to wait maybe three months before buying it, but a stupid friend downloaded Sims 3, so I pre-ordered it to support EA.

You call yourselves fans, but instead of just waiting the last week and few days to buy the game to show your support to your supposedly favorite game, you go and download the damn thing illegally from sources that got it ... God only knows how.

You have disappointed me, those of you whom I call my friends.  I don't care what your reasoning is, you suck.

Please if you have the game, keep it to yourself, you don't want to be getting in trouble. I suppose this whole thread defeats the purpose of that rule, but eh, we shall live.

lol isn't that pushing it a little? if they buy the game anyway what does it matter?

i'm sure almost everyone here has downloaded music illegally. it's all the same.

See, this is where I can't help but have to say what I think, I'm naturally that kind of person.

I totally agree. On one side. I agree that it absolutely sucks it got leaked in the first place, and I also agree that it sucks that some people are getting it for free, especially ones who are fans.

But people are free to do as they choose. WE didn't leak it. WE didn't make you not download it. I'M BUYING the game and the Prima on June 5th JUST like everyone else. I don't even have the leak anymore, I only wanted to mess with the CAS for a little. The opportunity was there so I took it. And it only makes me feel better about this game. Regardless of what you or anyone else thinks, really.

I'm not going to say anyone sucks because each side has it's reasoning and I think that's just rude.
The game will be brilliant, I'm looking forward to June 5th even more and we will all have a fantabulous time with TS3. We all love Sims at the end of the day. And I know I don't suck.

I hope you didn't get SecuRom with your downloaded game.. It will still be on you computer after you have deleted the game and could cause problems with the computer and maybe when you install the genuine game.  ???
