if you think 10 is young, you'll get a kick out of this...my 4 y/o niece plays the sims...and she's pretty good at it, too...i let her play it one time at my house and she became addicted to it so i had to go out and buy her the game lol

I started playing when I was 10 and now i am 15 and my friends play it 2. I dont play it as much.My sister got addicted 2 the sims when she was 5 she is now 9 and still plays it like everyday. I think the sims is for everyone so no age group.

I'm 14, 15 in August, and i love the sims! There used to be this girl at my old school that we would talk about our sims all the time, but at my current school none of my friends really play. My friend Hillary has the sims 1, but she definately not addicted.
I started out playing the sims 1, one day when my older brother brought it home.

I'm 38, have loved Sims for years.  I started full time work after sixteen years of being a stay at home Mum, and now I miss my Sims! oh and my kids!  I actually find that telling my friends (oldies) that I play Sims in my spare time, they get interested and eventually addicted too.  One friend makes way better houses than me and we brag about how many generations we can grow up at once etc.  A good way to "police" your use of Sims is to use it as a reward - for example I would iron one shirt, then reward myself with 5 minutes of Sims, before I know it a basket of ironing is done and two generations have grown up happy and healthy.  Oh yeah, all my kids have been at school for two years now, so I haven't neglected anyone while playing Sims!

I started playing when I was 9 and a half, and now I am ten and a half. I have been playing Sims for almost a year. I know it sounds pathetic, but I fell in love with it so fast And also, before that I would watch Sims 2 videos (that's the reason I went out and bought sims because I liked the music videos!) and I had played Urbz Sims or something like that before I played Sims 2.

The great thing about Sims is that it appeals to absolutely anyone of any age... same with Harry Potter... I don't know what it is about those franchises but there must be something to make them so popular.
Well I've been playing since I was 6 or 7, and I'm now 15. I want to play for many years to come, I just hope I'm not as obsessed when I'm older. But I'm making my kids be obsessed if it's the last thing I do. {yes}

I'm a new simmer...at age 16.  I love the sims now and honestly, I have many games that maybe I am technically too old for.  I have nancy drew games but I have one friend that plays those too.  Anyway, I think there really is no age limit, just because it is a game and stuff and kids are the ones who have more time for this doesn't mean we can't play them too.  I think I will grow up being the kind of person that is a kid at heart.  I can already see that happening.  But then I can understand my kids better.  Anyways, thats off topic.  You're not alone, there are many like you

I'm 27 and started playing Sims 2 when I was 25. I know eight or so people who play Sims 2 and they are all 20+. We use to discuss Sims in chatrooms and on msn and we all play the game little differently. If you are on fan sites you see that there are many many many grown ups there who design clothes, furnitures and hacks.

I started when I was about ten or so, now I'm 12.
I've only heard of TS1, from some kid in elementary.
I read the TS2 website, watched uTube vids, then BEGGED my mom if I could have it... I got it, and I've cherished itever since.
