Still Alive!

Hurricane Ike came up and played footsie with us.

We've had no electricty from the 13th until just an hour ago.

The lights are flickering, so we may lose it again (though hopefully it won't be for long), but I thought I'd drop in real quick and let you all know I'm okay.

No problem! I'm so surprised to see how many people seem to really care about their fellow simmers.

It's so sweet!  From the looks of it, I was the only simmer here who was affected by Ike, but I guess that's a good thing.

One simmer to worry about is bad enough, I'm glad there weren't others

its hurricane season. there was a hurricane in mexico, and thats what has been affecting el paso.
as long as youre back, im happy

If I do end up disappearing again, at least now you know I am okay, and it's just the power being wonky ^_^

yep so is it still raining over there and all? it kinda is here.

Nope. We haven't had any rain since last Monday (the 15th).

But there was a cool front, so it's been really nice the last week. It just started getting really hot and humid again a couple days ago.
