Is The Sims 3 Delaying?

It may be on the 27th, which is a Friday, which is better, since we will have all weekend...but it may come out on Saturday the 28th.

It sucks!!!  I want it a week earlier, but if this is true, it's better than like a delay of months.  I can deal with it.

Ahh yes, I read this earlier, I swear it's the most legit possible date yet. I hope it's real because I can totally deal with a weeks delay. I don't want to, but I can. I'm still holding out for the 20th though.

I'm with you on the whole we want the game now thing. I do NOT want the game released later, because they gave us a date, and it seemed pretty reasonable back then, giving them time to fix the bugs, etc, and now, rumors of them delaying it? OMG.

I would wait a week, but I don't really see what they COULD do in a week. Plus, they've released a whole lot of flyers and stuff saying February the 20th, and they made us so excited, because It seemed like the game was coming soon, like it was already finished, and then they let us down.

If they do delay it, then it's gonna cause a whole lot of kerfuffle with the preorder codes, and the people that preordered the game, and don't have internet. :/

I agree with everything Adam said, basically, delaying it (even just for a week) would mess everything up. Announcing a delay so LATE in the process of anticpating this game wouldn't be an ideal move, but then again, EA don't really rely on how good their moves are to grab customers, do they, 'cause they know we're going to buy what they give us anyway. I don't know... I'll just twiddle my thumbs until the 3rd and then we can all cross our fingers and hopefully rejoice because it WONT be delayed.

I think the only reason they would delay it is because they want to increase the sales of their other games that are coming out, like SimAnimals or some non-sim related game.  They know that if a bunch of people are waiting for TS3, their other games won't sell as good, especially when no one don't have much money to spend.

If this is the case, heck, cancel those other games!  Little kids can wait for their Animals and stuff. 

That would be so messed up if it's delayed.

sim animals is already out, plus i don't think that targets the same audience as the sims 3. neither does mysims. both target a younger audience than the sims 3

I guess Im the only one who is not taking this delay thing seriously...i still think its all a joke..I will still put down a million dollars that this is all a joke to me..Im not reading nothing negative about the sims3..including the delay thing..cause its nonsense..it is still obvious to ask..why would there be a delay, when the game is right around the corner..usually you can tell that a game may not be complete 5 months before the expected release date..it still feels like a joke to me..it is goin to be a popular game..and they probably jus want to play with our heads...I still dont believe it...and Im not going to believe it..I'll wait til the 3rd of feb.and see what they say..but I doubt any of this bullcrap...I think its all a joke..maybe when the 3rd comes..they might not even post anything..they might jus try to have us lost and confuse..next thing u notice(its feb.20th)you go to walmart..gamestop..etc..and what?THE SIMS 3 right there on the shelf(new release)...I dont let no bullcrap come to me like that..i have faith so Im not goin to think negative and just believe everything I see or hear...I rather wait til the 20th and see if the sims 3 is on the shelf at my job..and if not...then maybe they were right..but right now..they are wrong and foolish..I don t have time for that..so I still believe that there are 21 days until the sims 3 release...flatout..dont let your hopes and guard down over this bullcrap..you only heard one person from the camp thing spread that delay rumor..you didnt hear it from nobody else...now maybe everyone is trying to fool us..idk...but dont believe..I swear it all seems like a joke..I will bet a million dollars on this that this is a joke..im telling you

Okay, you're not the only one taking this release thing seriously. and EA have told us not to expect it to come out on the 20th, so we didn't hear this from one person at the camp. We all love the sims, and just because some of us believe this story, doesn't mean we're not taking it seriously.

Okay,,thats you,but I have different thoughts and view...and I still think its all a fake to me..and I didnt read anything about wat EA said,..I would rather wait til the 20th..and they did say wait til the 3rd of feb to see about the release date..so I will wait til that day..but I wasnt being mean with all that I said...I jus believe and feel that this is still all a joke to me...I dont believe non of the info..and that just that...Im sorry if I offended you..i wasnt trying to..I was just being honest and keeping my word every since this topic has been up...I dont believe it..I understand what you saying and Im sorry again..but I dnt believe it and I still think the 20th is the release day flatout..this is my view..it doesnt have to be anybody else's view..it just mines..sorry if I offended you or anybody..but I wasnt tryn to..sorry
