buying shoes and jackets and stuff

I think it would be cool if sims could choose jackets and shoes and stuff separately and wear them separately, instead of having shoes going with only a specific pair of pants. Or like a jacket going with any top, not just one. So the sim could wear the jacket with whatever top you want, and shoes with whatever pair of pants you want.

I read somewhere that our simmies will be able to choose their own shoes. Seperately.

In the Sims 3 demo on Free Time, you get to see the CAS screen, and there they choose tops, bottoms and then shoes.

I also think underwear should matter. Like, if a sim is wearing a bra with straps and puts on a strapless tank top on top, you'd be able to see the bra straps sticking out. Layered clothing, in other words. Would be really cool.

i completly agree about the underware thing (meaning we should also have femal undersware that are braless or with transparent bra straps)
and when the sims 2 first came out i thought we'll have the option to choose jackets and shoed speratly so i'm also hoping 4 that option in the sims 3

Awesome idea that, but I think that shoes are already being separated from the pants in TS3. YAY!!
