My friend who's getting TS3 as soon as it comes out, she's giving all her old TS2 games to her friend and her friend is like 'OMG WOOT!'. Which is nice and all, but call me mean but I don't see how anyone could get so excited over TS2 when something so much better is just around the corner.

LOL, I know, that's what I'm trying to say... whether you have played TS2 or not, I mean, if I had never played TS2, but I knew of TS3, I would choose to get TS3 because I wouldn't be able to play TS2 if I knew there's a game out there that is twice as good and cheaper than it is to get the TS2 basegame and 2 or 3 EP's.

That's good that you are really patient to get a sims game.  If they come out with TS2 complete collection, then they have to with TS3, unless they get greedy, and would want to re-release all of the EPs and the base game seperately for $10 each, like they do with some game collections.

If I had to choose between the complete collection and the new game, I would pick the new game, just because I expect it to have more features and be better.  And I'm just with Cassie, I just can't play the older game, especially when I know other simmers, especially my spoiled cousin, rubbing the new sims in my face.
