Your OWN Sims 3

Re: Your OWN Sims 3
Kewl. If i was making Sims 3, I wouldn't make but one game. But, I couldn't fit exactly everything in one game. I wish it could be that simple, with no expansion packs and maybe stuff packs only. I love sims, but I never understood the expansion pack thing. I wish I could have it all at once.

~can't wait!!!~

Will do at somepoint today, have to go to school in a little bit.

Just wanted to add a few more EP ideas I had for this mock game:

Sims 3: Out to Sea -- Yachts, shipbuilding, commercial fishing, the discovery of you own Private Island, swimming, sailing, and more!

Sims 3: Urban Infrastructure -- Subways, Railways, Highways and Airplanes. Build High Rise Apartment Buildings (without substantial lag and cheats) and turn your town into a bustling SimCity!

WOW
That was by far the best thing I've ever read about TS3.
I'm seriously wondering why you aren't working for EA yet.

Re: Your OWN Sims 3
I came up with a new template for the EPs, as well as names, a few new concepts (both added and removed), etc. I'll keep it simple and just list the changes, and the EPs effected (and added to the list).

    Sims 3
    • With the breakup of towns, rather than have it be regular town, shopping town, etc. The Sims 3 has a new system. When you first create a town, you chose the name and you enable whether or not the town has the ability to cheat (upon further review, this is the only anti-cheating measure I feel should be applied.) Once created, you have your regular default village and design it as you like. From there, should that town run out of room (or for the sake of organization) you can go and establish a new district at any given time, it must be placed in relation to the initial district and all the roads, geography, etc, have to link up (there's a reconcile edges button to meet this end, like in SimCity 4). Districts can be likened to zones in a MMORPG game, they aren't finite ends, they are just regions attached to the primary one and one can switch between two zones freely at anytime, with a slight (as opposed to a substantial) loading time attached.

    Sims 3: Challengers
    • The ability for Sims to kayak, surf, swim in oceans, or sail has been moved to the Sims 3: Out to Sea EP
    • The division of athletics has been altered, Sims may compete at the following levels: Regional (meaning against teams within districts of the town), and National (Sims that are from other towns entirely, such as a Pleasantville vs. Strangetown competition). The ability to compete at an International level is unlocked in the Sims 3: Internationale.
    • Sims can go camping, bungy-jumping, climbing, and more.

    Sims 3: Internationale
    • Countries now exist within the Sims, they are a step above Towns. Your default towns belong to SimNation. The countries of Prevervania (Preved speaking), Goblabwei (Gobbledygook speaking), Balderland (Balderdash speaking), and Grekistan (Greek speaking) are set, unable to be deleted, and come with their own unique items and culture that cannot be replicated in other places, items may be brought over, but that's all that can be done. For example: Prevervania is Thai themed, as such they will have access to architectural tools unaccessible to people from SimNation, as well as furniture, etc. Goblabwei is Moroccan Themed, Balderland is Swiss Themed, and Grekistan is Mediterranean Themed; the same rules apply to all of them as well.
    • Preved is classified as a garbled mix of Russian and Chinese. Gobbledygook is a mix of Xhosa (language with clicking sounds) and French. Balderdash is Dutch, Turkish, and Spanish. Grekistan is Ancient Greek and Latin blurred together with no attention to syntax. There is also a fifth language of Llama, which is just random mixes of human-mocked llama sounds and English with no attention to syntax.
    • The ability for athletes to function at the World Level becomes available.

    Sims 3: Underground
    • Ability to rise up through the criminal ranks. Perform tasks, both immediate and long term, as well as building influence in all the right (in this case they're really the wrong) places. There is no salary attached, all money is earned through tasks.
    • Sims have moral judgment, and from that determine what is right from what is wrong.
    • Sims can attain Enlightenment, by a randomly selected, inalterable, means.

    Sims 3: The Great Debaters
    • Named changed from Ballot Box.
    • Crime moved from here to Underground EP.
    • Sims can now join debate clubs in High School and College.

    Sims 3: Grassroots
    • Named changed from Agriculture to Grassroots.
    • Sims can make railways to link the districts and foreign towns.

    Sims 3: Kapow!
    • Name changed. Religion transfered from here to Underground EP.

    Sims 3: Hedonism
    • Sims can now create rock bands and set up tours.
    • Concerts can happen in School, High School, and College.
    • Sims can join theater groups as well, and have plays.

    Sims 3: Out to Sea
    • New Expansion Altogether -- Sims can swim at the beaches, go sailing, build marinas, build ships (which you design!), and even go on cruises.
    • Commercial Fishing becomes a viable (and possibly dangerous out on the high seas!) career
    • Sims can discover their own private islands removed from the mainland and establish total control.
    • Athletes can now engage in Swimming, Surfing, and Rowing starting from High School.

    Sims 3: Urban Infrastructure
    • New Expansion Altogether -- Sims can link together districts with highways, subways, elevated railways, public transportation, and even airports! Sims can even fly their own airplanes!
    • Build High-rise apartments and Office Buildings.
    • Keep the city green by keeping air pollution in check with parks, trees, and nature, or let the smog thicken the air and watch as your Sims' healths waver.
