Oooh, but it is. You just have to make sure you have it set to do so. XD
Edit: In case you DON'T and would LIKE TO, here are the instructions: Modify Profile -> Personal Message Options -> Save a copy of each Personal Message in my outbox by default. Just check the box, obviously, and YAY.
