EA: The pirated version is a buggy, pre-final version of the game
dateline= Wrote:EA said the pirated version "is a buggy, pre-final" version of the game.

"It's not the full game. Half of the world — an entire second city — is missing," said spokeswoman Holly Rockwood in a statement.

At last, an official word from EA. Smile

The Sims 2 = The Sims 3

They're both good...

Hmm...That's nice if it's true, but couldn't the "entire second world" be Riverview? This could be just a play on words to make it sound like it's unfinished.

Hopefully it really is a prefinal, and if not there will be a patch soon enough. I'm not worried.

Probably a typo. The official TS3 website says the release is June 2, so I'd go with what they say. The game releases in the UK on June 5, maybe they just picked a "middle ground" for both and said it released on the third.

lol. The retail version will be missing an entire city too for those people that don't have the internet. But then again, who doesn't have the internet these days. I can't wait to download the other city.

I haven't seen any bugs yet though.

OBVIOUSLY Riverview wouldn't come with the leaked version, I think people would probably figure that out before the download it. Tongue {rolleyes}

Thank God. I came across alot of bugs when playing (for example, glass textures change to red sometimes). Hopefully when I buy it when it comes out, it'll be bug-free. Smile

Yeah. It shows that even when little things are messed up it can really distract playing.
I'm sure it'll be a lot less buggy on the final version. Can't wait. Smile
