You can just not go to work, but it'll decrease your job performance I think.

I was kind of disappointed by this as well.. There's no option to "Call in Sick," and it doesn't seem like our sims have paid vacation days. It's a bit of a pain to have the job performance drop significantly for missing a single day of work. :L

Maybe get the Vacationer reward?

I use the vacationer award... its maybe 5,000 or 10,000 lifetime happiness points, which isn't that bad.

Use the vacationer Reward. {yes} And Sims DO get paid for vacation days.

If your sim's a female, what I did was get her pregnant so she could be on maternity leave lol  {whistle}
