Mike informed me last night [though I only read the message this morning] that a girl from the EAUK forums passed away a few days ago after a car crash. She was a friend of mine. She was the loveliest girl you could meet, quite quirky and incredibly sweet.

I don't want to say too much about her because I'm no different than anyone else who had spoken with her online, she had a lot of friends and she was liked so much.

I'd linked her to this forum but her heart was with the EAUK ones, but she definitely knew about this place. She was a true Sims fan like the rest if us.

I just thought it'd be nice that I'd have the forum know in case any of you guys knew her, and regardless of if you did or didn't, just to say RIP and pay any respects you might have.

Odd how someone can be there and you don't give it a second thought. And then they're just gone forever.

Debi... I wish I'd spoken to you more often than I did recently... now I'll never get a chance...

It's not stupid to be emotional about someone who loved the same things as you. In fact, it's very normal to feel this way. Don't beat yourself up for being emotional at a time like this Cassie. It's healthy to cry then to hold it off.

No, I haven't been through this but, it's best to be around supportive and loving people at this time. Smile

Thanks Ahmed. It means a lot to me if you reply. It's nothing here to like, all the pages of replies and threads they have about her death over on EAUK, but it can't hurt, right.

I hate seeing her name on MSN and knowing she's never going to sign back on. Where it says 'This person is offline. Messages will be delivered when they sign in' and it's like, well she's never going to sign in is she?

I just don't feel like I have the right to get myself upset when she had so many closer online friends... I stopped posting on EAUK a while ago and it's been a good 2 months since I talked to her on MSN... but you don't think that'll be the last time because you don't even consider that person will die.

I know what you mean but like I said I don't know how you feel. Everyone has the right to be upset when someone dies, regardless of how well they knew them. Making this thread shows how much you cared about her.

My heart breaks for her family, her friends and for Dustin.

I don't know if I could ever go back to EAUK now.... it's a lovely forum, huge like, I was addicted when I was about 12/13, went off it as I got older. But they're all really nice, but it'd give me bad feelings... maybe I will.

This makes me really want to keep everyone I know really close to me now. None of you die on me now! Stay safe.

Here Cassie, it's not abnormal to be upset about this, I would be too if I knew her. Although when I read the email I got, I was a bit shaken, especially because of how old she was.
