The only thing im concerned about is how long we have to feed a sim after the pop up comes. What if you're out and about and can't get anything at that moment?i totally agree

Re: Moods
What about the familys with kids? If the mum is hungry like 7am, and the son say it is hungry 7.30 am and the daughter 7.45. The parents will have to make food all the time. Instead of have one breakfast...
Or will the kids be abel to make their own food? And I mean food from the fridge. |

Re: Moods
Yea I'm starting to not like taking away the bars. When the creators say people don't say I'm 75% hungry or whatever, that's not totally accurate. So we don't talk technically, but we're still aware of how long ago we ate, and around when we'll need to eat. It's not like we suddenly realize we're starving.
Sometimes in the sims I want the hunger bar to decrease faster. My sims generally only need one meal a day (the one they get at work), and that is totally unrealistic. But if they are stay at home then they generally eat three meals. I think the meal sims eat at work shouldn't be as filling. I want them to be hungry for a family dinner! But how are you supposed to know if they're overeating if the bar doesn't fill up? I really don't like hunger being hidden. I don't care about the rest, but don't take away my hunger bar! |

Re: Moods
I'm not sure I entirely like the idea of not seeing the need bars...
On TS2 for Nintendo DS, you can only see one bar which is called the "Sanity" bar, and every time you do something (e.g. go to the toilet), the sanity bar goes up, and when you don't do something which you need to do, it goes down. But this makes the game especially difficult because how can you get the sanity bar to go up when you don't even know what it is that they need... :-[ So to get the sanity bar up, you have to do everything basically, like take them to the toilet, give them a snack, make them watch tv, socialize with your family, make them take a shower or give them a nap, until you finally get the right one which gets the sanity bar to go woosh back up to the top again. But you spend so much time trying to get the sanity bar full that you end up having no time for anything else... Gets especially annoying. I think there should be an option to either show the bars or not, even though I already know they're definitely (I think) taking them out of the game. ![]() |

Re: Moods
well the needs arent necessarily disappearing what I have read and come to understand is that..above their portrait an icon will pop up and the need will decrease and decrease until you click the icon and act on it. The longer you take the more of a problem it would be..im sure thats why they can still pee themselves and starve to death. its still up to us to make them take care of business.

I think most people are concerned about when they will be notified, and how long they'll have to take care of it. As someone said earlier, when you want to cook a family meal, how will you know if everyone is hungry at the same time? If you wait until they all notify you, the first sim could be near starving. I think that sims should have symbols over their picture that would slowly fade in and out. They would start to show up when a sim was slightly hungry, and then be fully visible when they are really hungry. Then a red outline could appear when that need HAS to be taken care of. The same thing could happen with other needs. |
