Who is preordering the sims 3 ?

you can already pre-order it? thats awfully soon..how much was it?? and where are you from? ( its not because I dont believe you its because i want an idea of how much it costs cause im going to have money issues for awhile)

I'm not going to preorder it. In fact, I probably won't get it until months after it comes out. It depends on how well I'm doing in school (just starting college) and if I think I could handle another distraction/if I have a computer that's worthy of The Sims 3.

Plus I love love love custom content and in the first few months CC is awful!

I wouldn't be able to sit longer than a couple of hours, knwoing people have the game and I don't. 'Nuff said about that.

I am thinking about pre-ordering, but I think I'll have it shipped over from America somehow, I want it as soon as it's available, don't care which country I have to get it from. And I don't care about the extra costs - this is Sims, this is one of my biggest obsessions and I know it's worth it.

Can you just order it from the American amazon.com? Although they might have some sort of protection against that... However, even if you can't get it the day it releases in America, ebay would have the game up a few days afterwards, so depending on how quickly they shipped it you'd have it at least a month before you would if you played by EA's rules

I am from Kansas City and I ordered it from my local gamestop a few weeks ago.  It was fifty dollars.  I put five on it.  I found out it was preorderable when I checked out the pc section on gamestop.com.  Go to the coming soon section at the bottom of the pc games section after clicking the pc game tab, it should be on the last page.

It seems you can register with the American eBay if you are from the UK... I haven't signed up, but I saw the option. But it will take if not a week to get it on there, and then plus all the waiting time. Is there any proper sites that sell new items to both the US and UK? So basically, one that will ship it from America to me on the day of its release. Hoorays available if you can help me out with this.

Sooo many people will be very peed off if they pre-ordered a game a year prior and have yet to recieve it months after it was released.  :o

It probably happens, but I would be upset knowing that a year ago, they got their money upfront, yet 2 months later, everyone is playing it but me. By then, I would've boughten it at the store and gotten my money back.

ya, I'm just going to wait until the release date and like rush up to the stores and snatch it before they can run out.  I know it won't happen but it would be hilarious if sims lovers camped out in front of computer stores like Best Buy overnight and waited for them to open in the morning just to rush in, grab a game, check out, walk to the car clutching it, and contentedly try to breath easier in thier car on the way home from all the suspense.
