Continous walking!

Re: Continous walking!
Public trans would be awesome. I think it should come maybe every one and half to two hours in sim time. I think the timing for buses would be the most difficult thing to work out. Mainly because you want it to come often enough thats its convenient when sims need to take it, but not often enough that you get really annoyed by its constant appearance.

I think the creators are crazy if they don't put in bikes and whatnot. How do they expect the sims to get around?

Re: Continous walking!
Well, if they don't put it in this game, I'm sure it will be in others because the n hood is only going to get bigger.

I'm thinking of the sims who will get caught in the rain and are too far away from the shops downtown/ buildings, and their homes. Maybe a neighbor isn't home as well.

I think bus shelters could also keep sims out of the rain.

Sims that are forever late could miss the bus! I can totally see them running after it and taxiing it in a bad mood. If they are too frugal (if taxis  actually charge this time around per sim mile) they would be forced to walk in the sopping wet.

Re: Continous walking!
Oh yea, thats another thing. I want everything to have a cost. Taxis, buses, drinks at the bar and I want to be able to add on a tip to the bill for a restaurant.

I really hope teens and kids have pocket money so sometimes they'll be broke and maybe miss out on going out one night because they're too poor and their parents are in a bad mood so they won't give them money.

Re: Continous walking!
That would be so cool. Both parents could be frugal, they only put money towards the kids college fund. Gosh, you are all so creative!

I think that with the seamless neighborhood there is a huge possiblity than transportation options will increase. Bikes, skateboards, etc for younger kids. I mean how are sims going to get from one side of town to another if they can't drive!?

and i have been begging for that stuff for ages..
i would love skateboards bikes etc..especially with outdoorsy sims?? and teens personalities and kids..could be showcased with things like this..

Re: Continous walking!
Aww, yeah, I can just picture a little girl wearing a pink helmet sat atop a little pink girly bike with ribbons attached and training wheels and mummy and daddy teaching them how to ride it. I hope that if the whole family is really active and outdoorsy, they could all go biking together.

Re: Continous walking!
oh yesss!!!!
they should have the option to teach little ones how to ride their bikes...and some sims could just be so scared and never learn..and always use their training wheels..
rollerblades would be cool too i loved to rollerblade when i was 10-11

Re: Continous walking!
Yeah, it would be so sweet if a group of girls who were best friends can all rollerblade to school or a group of teen boys could go and skateboard around the park, and the girls could always want to hang about wherever their crush is. By this I mean, say there's a skater boy who always hangs at the park from about 5pm to 7pm every weekday, then the girl who is crushing on them should notice this and purposely get into the habbit of going to the park when he will be there.
