so true, if I have money to spend on it, then I may buy it so that I can look at all the cool stuff in it.

Re: Prima Guide?
Well, I have the official answer. I went to game stop and they told me that they get the guides a week or two before the game comes out. They then keep them, and can only release it after the game comes out. Which is usually a week later.Sad

Re: Prima Guide?
awww, that stinks.  What's the point once you can get the game?  I guess then I probably won't bother with it.  Thanx for finding out though!

Re: Prima Guide?
Doh! I forgot all about this thread! My little screen on my blackberry is my only means of getting online unless I'm in school so I rarely read the older posts.

Thanks for the kharma cass!

I hate that they can't release it to the public early but I understand.

If you have the guide before the game, what's the point? You will have all the secrets and know how to play before you can even discover the game. I know they want us to find things out before the cheats and walk throughs come out. I guess that's why they only print hints in the game guides.

Re: Prima Guide?
idk i dont really think that EA isnt being fair i mean how sad would it be if they gave us the guide way before the actual game came out and we read so much about the sims three from the websites and books magazines and the guide that we got sick of it before we could evan get our hands on the actual game i think EA is sorda doing us a favor if u look at it that way and didn't the sims 2 come out in 2005?

oh and what is the name of the magazine that has all sorts of info on the sims 3 that out its like windows games or something like that

its Lauren Tongue
